This policy explains what personal information Saxon Enterprises, Inc. (“Saxon Enterprises”, “we”, “us”) collects through saxonwordpress.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you register, we store your username, email address, display name and a securely hashed password.
- Google or Microsoft sign in. If you choose to sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address and a unique account identifier from that provider. We do not receive your Google or Microsoft password, contacts, files or any other data.
- Contact form messages. When you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, optional phone number and message you send.
- Technical information. Our web server records standard log data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, which we use to keep the site secure and working.
- Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect sign in and forms against misuse. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and let you sign in.
- To send account emails, such as your welcome email and password resets.
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To protect the site against spam, fraud and abuse.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use information received from Google or Microsoft for advertising.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting provider and Google Workspace for sending email, and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention and your choices
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. You can update your profile at any time after signing in, disconnect Google or Microsoft from your profile, or ask us to export or delete your personal data by contacting us at the address below. You can also revoke this site’s access from your Google or Microsoft account settings.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, passwords are stored only in hashed form, and access to the server is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
